Balance & billing

Generation usage is billed against a prepay balance, priced per second of inference. Check your balance and your rate card at any time with a single GET request.

GET/v1/balance

Returns your current prepay balance, the minimum balance required to start new jobs, and the per-second rates you are charged.

Pricing rates

Rates are quoted in USD per second of inference, keyed by the serving instance type. The platform picks the instance for each job — your rate card is always in rates, so read your price from the response rather than hardcoding it.

InstanceUSD per second≈ USD per minute
g5$0.000844$0.0506
g6e$0.001556$0.0934
g7e$0.002333$0.1400

How billing works

  • Prepay balance. Usage is deducted from a balance you top up in advance on the dashboard, paid via Stripe. Preset top-ups are $10, $25, and $100, or any custom amount between $1 and $1,000. There is no public top-up endpoint.
  • Minimum balance. Creating a new job requires balance_usd ≥ min_balance_usd (currently $1.00). Below that, the request fails with 402 insufficient_balance.
  • You pay only for success. Usage settles per second, and only on SUCCEEDED jobs. The billed window runs from capacity allocation to inference finish, rounded up to the whole second. FAILED and CANCELED jobs cost nothing.
  • Overdraft is accepted. Settlement can drive the balance slightly negative — a job that already started always finishes. Only new jobs are gated by the minimum balance.

For the exact charge applied to a finished job, compare created_at against your balance history after settlement; the rates object in this response is the authoritative pricing source.
